Two-week daytime closures of Arthur’s Pass highway announced

In a move that has outraged the West Coast tourism industry, the NZ Transport Agency has confirmed it will be closing the Arthur’s Pass Highway during the day for two weeks in December for re-surfacing in the Otira Gorge.
